SAMIA HILAL

In various cities including Paris, Reims, and Geneva, Samia Hilal (1999), has embarked on a creative journey that has shaped her into the visionary she is today.

Now back in Paris after completing her studies, Samia is poised to embark on her professional voyage, fueled by her passion for design and scenography.

Samia’s path to creativity began with a year of preparation at the prestigious Ateliers de Sèvres in Paris. From there, she pursued her bachelor’s degree in Object and Space Design at ESAD in Reims, followed by a master’s in Interior Architecture at HEAD Geneva. These formative years sculpted her into the versatile artist she is today.

Currently in the twilight of her internship at Hermès Paris, specializing in architectural scenography, Samia is on the brink of transitioning into the realm of freelancing. March will herald a new chapter in her career, where she’ll flex her creative muscles as a designer, scenographer, interior architect, and artist.

Inspired by a myriad of influences, Samia draws from the rich tapestry of artistic expressions. From the evocative paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe to the graphic brilliance of Paul Cox, she infuses her creations with a blend of personal experiences and artistic references. Motifs observed in her living spaces, the colors of her childhood memories, and the shapes of cherished objects all find their way into her vibrant designs.

At the core of Samia’s artistic identity lies a style characterized by joy and vibrancy. Refusing to be confined to a single label, she sees herself as a creator who spreads joy through her work, whether it’s through design, scenography, or architecture.

As Samia prepares to embark on her next creative endeavor, she remains grateful for the recognition of her work and looks forward to sharing her passion with the world.
