Between the blinding streets of Paris and the quiet landscapes of Vanves, Héloïse Carow-Bry (2004), embarks on a captivating journey of artistic self-discovery. Born in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, she navigated her formative years in Vanves before finding herself back in the heart of Paris for her studies since late August.

Her academic trajectory, marked by a transition from general studies to specialized fields like STD2A and a brief exploration of interior architecture and design, took an unexpected turn. Fuelled by an innate passion, Héloïse delved into the world of photography, a self-taught pursuit that would become the cornerstone of her artistic expression. A serendipitous encounter with Les Gobelins school led her to pursue her newfound passion officially, where she now thrives as a first-year student, reveling in the joy of creative exploration.

Influenced by a diverse array of artistic luminaries, Héloïse draws inspiration from the bold strokes of Jean-Michel Basquiat, the surreal compositions of Toiletpaper Magazine, and the masterful works of Jenny Saville in painting. Expanding her horizons, she also admires the impactful creations of Bill Viola, Sarah Moon, Claudia Andujar, and the experimental compositions of Maya Rochat, exploring the nuances of abstraction.

As she charts her artistic course, Héloïse describes her current state as one of experimentation, a phase where she explores various styles while laying the foundations for her unique artistic voice. Her photographic endeavors lean heavily into light painting and double exposures, revealing a penchant for the experimental.
